smocked round cushion made of satin material
I had learnt this from a friend of mine two years ago. I have used satin cloth and fishing thread. I am on my way to design a complete set of cushions changing the decor plan of my living room. hope to do themm soon and keep posting.
the method here is smocking, where the whole design is brought about by only stiching and there is no special cut required.

sponge flower
- Take a thin and long strip of sponge.
- From one end turn it inward.
- again give a second inward turn.
- the third turn should be in the opposite direction, ie, outward, holding the longer end.
- Now keep giving a twist and turning around the small bud formed due to the first two fold,a beautiful rose shaped flower could be made within seconds.

kundan flowers
hi, I have made some flowers from kundan stones, and here's how I made them
things required
- kundan stones
- flower making wire
- green tape
- cutter/cutting plier
- there are normally two holes in the kundan stones, put the wire into one and bring it out through the other.
- make sure that only minimal wire is seen on the stone, tighten the wire and a petal is ready
- make atleast five petals like this
- arrange the petals into the shape of a flower.
